Baptisms, weddings, funerals and other pastoral services in other languages

kirkkoon_fi/kaste/kaste8.jpgBaptisms and other pastoral services (confirmation school, marriage, blessing of marriage, blessing of home, funeral) are possible in many different languages or bilingually (Finnish or Swedish and another language) in Turku and Kaarina.

If you would like to get your child baptized or be baptized yourself or there is a need for other kind of pastoral service in your family, please, contact the Revd. Mia Pusa and clarify the details with her.

A general requirement is that some of the persons concerned are residents in Finland (have permission of residence) or Finnish citizens, and another one that some of them are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, or one of the following:

  • another Lutheran church,
  • the Church of England or another Anglican church in the British Islands
  • a member church of the Evangelic Church in Germany (EKD)
